  10. Bahah! Any clue as to why they were hanging out with your wallet in the first place?

Razors are so expensive sometimes I sit in that aisle forever and contemplate growing out my pit hair..

  11. Whoops! Well, it happens, I guess. I won't ask why you were carrying around a thong.

When I used to shine shoes for a living, I always had a huge bundle of ones. Every time I pulled it out and peeled off the singles, I felt like the cashier was looking at me thinking, "She looks awfully innocent for a stripper". Usually, I counteracted that perceived judgment by muttering something like, "I swear I'm not a stripper, I shine shoes. See? I've got shoe polish under my nails still! Look at my nails, damn it!!"

In these situations, it's probably always less embarrassing to keep your mouth shut.

  29. OH MY GOSH! That was SOOO funny! I love your little cartoons!
Once, when I was on cross country, I got injured on a run so the new coach gave me a ride back to school in his truck. I was wearing his hat and I accidentally kept it. When I went to give it to him the next day, I reached into my gym bag saying, "Oh here, I have something for you." and I tossed him my bra instead!

  38. Bahaaa! That is too ironic! I mean everytime I throw something like that into my purse I am so sure it will never pop out but alas it sneaks to the top and jumps right out. Case in point: box of condoms while my students were learning about safe sex = NO SEX! true story...kinda embarrassing.

  40. Bon Bon, this happened to me last week, but the questionable object was a tampon. I can't decide if the 16-yr old MALE check out kid was extremely understanding or totally grossed out? Because it will either make me feel better or embarrased...your kids will be proud of you and by proud I mean flash a smile at your face and a conspiratory eye roll at a 16 year old boy checking you out at the grocery store. Much love! mrs. B

  41. Wow how embarrassing! I'm sure we've all had our share of mortified moments though. :/

  42. That's one rough day. I've been out and about, only to realize there's a sock in my sleeve (thanks, static) or my shirt is on inside out. But it makes for a great story :)

  48. Thank you for your delightfully honest and upbeat blog.

    a. venus razors are ridonk expensive. yet I keep buying.

    b. one time i was working out and underwear fell out of my yoga pants.

    that is all.

  49. I'm simultaneously sorry that happened and yet relieved to know I'm not the only one to have had awkward things fall out of my purse in a male's presence....such as tampons that have come out of their wrapper unbeknownst to me and other fun things... :)

  51. Hi, I'm new to your blog and so glad to have found you. First of all, I think we were some sort of twins separated at birth or something. I thought things like this only happened to me. I even started developing tactics to help prevent these incidents. Like, I got a special small red make up bag dedicated to carrying tampons in my purse. I loved the fact it was red for the irony and the fact they weren't loose in my purse meant none would pop out like a surprise party popper. Now if every item I carried in my purse had an opaque bag like that - I may actually get away with this stuff but I don't. To be honest, your post has just reminded me I probably need to go remove some things from my purse now....Great job at conquering Paint. That's no easy process. Can't wait to see what else you have on your site.
