Proof

{picture of a picture}

Here I be, during my {summer as a boy}.

This is the only one I could find in my box of photos, but my parents have more. AND it's obviously B.P. (Before Perm).

This particular picture was taken at my grandparent's house, where apparently, they forced me to wear a flower to remind them all that I really was a girl.

I look happy on the outside, but inside I'm scheming something. Some revenge on a certain hairdresser or something. You can see it in my shifty eyes.

xoxo

  3. When I was young my mom gave me a bowl cut because my curly, curly hair would get the absolute worst tangles! I was a tomboy so it didn't help people knowing I was a girl either. Glad I'm not the only one!

  12. I still think you are precious, but I just started to feel guilt AGAIN for cutting my little cousin's hair many moons ago... she definitely had a peter pan haircut after that...

  22. Loving this picture- and your blog. There are a couple of years of my childhood where I sported some truly ridiculous hair. I love it.

  23. What a fun blog! I love it, and I am a new follower :). My sister also looked like a boy one summer and actually played on an all-boy T-ball team, which my mom thought was co-ed, but the coach never even realized she was a girl until after she had played a few games. Crazy huh?

  24. hahahahahaah!!!! This makes me so so HAPPY! When I was a little girl, my school mates used to ask me if I was a boy or a girl! It was so embarrassing, but I love it now!!!

  25. Hahaha awe! You still look like a girl! Okay, maybe the flower helps a lot, and being Asian doesn't help our androgyny factor as children, but it's not terrible! You were a very cute kiddo. :)
