Whim Wham Weekend #14

Friday Highlights
{soooooooo proud of this guy. so so so.}

*3-day weekend with the stud hubs begins. It happens.

*We've been spending the past month in the city and near his office after normal work hours, due to a BIG project (I keep him company aka try not to spill hot chocolate on his engineering plans and give him lots of encouraging kisses)

* My genius needed some rest this weekend.

*So we slept in.

*Many hours.

*Cinnamon toast, eggs, and bacon...in bed.

*Jamba Juice for lunch.

*Steak dinner al fresco with my parents.

*Perfect summer weather for my cousin Heidi, (visiting from Budapest).

*Marionberry Pie ice cream for dessert. Baby Bean's taste buds were a' dancing!

*Bonfire. Always a good choice.

Saturday Highlights

*Breakfast date with the gurrrrls. Tradition.

*Afternoon trek to Salem.

*Goodbye-Partying into the night, (Daniel's sister and her husband are moving to Serbia for 2-ish years)

*I won't even list all of the food I ate. It becomes slightly embarrassing after 3rd dinner.

*Daniel felt Baby Bean kick for the 1st time! Or fist pump. Definite male-bonding moment.

Sunday Highlights
{we are our friends' groupies}

*Women's World Cup game. Nail biter.

*Reminder that we need to start saving our pennies for the Men's World Cup. Brazil. many pennies.

*Ending the weekend with some groovy tunes and a shirley temple.

*Is there a weekend repeat button yet?

P.S. NEW baby bump picture coming soon. It has officially arrived.

xoxo
