Wish I Was Here

Sunshine. Tropical. Bliss.

I wish I was back at {this} place.

Externally, I need some sun-kissing to go on with my skin. Internally, I need a Bahama Mama. Or a Pina Colada.

And a cheeseburger from the walk-up grill on the beach.

This could very well be what Heaven is like.

Minus the pool-side DJ pumping out the Ice Cube hits.

Word.

    No way....you went to an Excellence Resort??? So did we for our honeymoon! We went to the Playa Mujeres location in Cancun. And you're spot on- it is heaven. We were planning on going back this October but my silly work schedule messed that up. We dream of it every day!

    hmmmm...i've never been anywhere tropical, but i think i wish i was there too!

    but....even though it's not quite tropical, i'll just be satisfied with the little bit of sun we got here in portland today :).

    Me too. My problem is that I always want to move to these places instead of just visiting them. I'm constantly scheming up ways to do this, which never seem to work out the way I'd hoped. I mean, who needs a quality education for The Kid when you can swim in the ocean 365 days a year?

    Ok, one last comment. You went to Punta Cana on your honeymoon? We wanted to go there so bad, but ended up at Puerto Plata in the north in the DR. And you even went to the resort that he looked into going to, dumb Jet Blue didn't fly there though :( Some day I'll go back and go to Punta Cana.
