Food for Thought

{lame}

brown. and bland.
That's what your lunch looks like when you haven't gone grocery shopping in 6 weeks.
My sad cardboard (two heels! pitiful) PB&J will have to suffice,
while I sketch out our plan of attack for the store later today.
I'm dreaming of prime rib. haagen dazs. anything cheese.
anything and everything food.

Reality.
somehow the stud hubs and I declared January 2012, the month where all things healthy resume in our life full-time.
Original. right.

I guess it's

farewell to you, my dear sweet open 'til midnight drive-thrus.
until we meet again, during my next pregnancy...
or, let's be honest,
next week after I've burned a thousand calories while feeding Baby Bean.
yeahhhhh. next week sounds about right.

new resolution
mama gets what mama wants.

xoxo

  10. After all of our meals from friends and family ran out, that is pretty much what my lunches looked like for a couple of weeks. It took us quite a while to get to the grocery store as well. But, once we did...it was glorious.

  12. my husband always says "what baby wants, baby gets" (line made famous by The Breakup), and when we have kiddos that will definitely need to change to "what mama wants, mama gets" ... and the baby too, I guess ;)
