Whim Wham Weekend #21

Highlights

*Cashing in my traditional Christmas gift: Girl's day with mama Rachael! Lunch and a Nordstrom shopping spreeeeeee.

*Stud Hubs and Baby Bean spent an afternoon downtown, drinking coffee/milk, getting kicked out of bars* typical male bonding stuff.

*Late night catching up with our DVR and munching on homemade kettle corn.

*Breakfast at Starbucks. The Chonga bagel is back! all is forgiven Starbucks. no hard feelings.

*Random flurry of snowflakes!

*Eating practically like rabbits and uber-healthy for a week...before I caved and politely asked in the most lady-like of ways {demanded in my sleep-deprived-hair-unwashed-teeth-unbrushed-sweatpants-wearing state} for anything and everything chocolate.

*A husband who understands the power of chocolate. and buys lots of it. Then lets me fall into a sugar coma, take a shower, paint my nails, eat more ice cream...

*technically, they did get kicked out of a bar. you can't take a baby into the bar area for happy hour. or take a baby into the bar at any hour. cough* Daniel*cough

  13. Oi, your blog makes me miss Portland so much! I've never lived there but I do love it when I visit. But I am quite content here in Eugene.

Also my mind was blown when my friend who worked at Starbucks for years revealed to me that Chonga means 'cheese, onions, (and) garlic'.

    I am easily impressed, obviously.

  18. Cute picture. Makes me miss Portland.

I've been craving chocolate lately too...but I get cranky after eating lots of sugar so it's not a good idea. Boo!
