Mom Jeans

Boots: Thrifted, Jeans: Kut, Chambray: Target, Sweatshirt: DIY

That sneaky 25th year of life is creeping up on me.
Twenty. Five.
Otherwise known as,
Holy. Cow.

Which is almost Thirty. And practically Forty.
With a hint of Fifty.

My wide bootcut denim is quickly becoming a gateway jean to tapered elastic SNL skits involving Tina Fey.

Breathe in. Breathe out.
Just numbers. Silly old numbers. Nothing more, nothing less.

Who am I kidding,
I've always been somewhat of an old soul anyway.
At age 10 {and apparently going on 110}, I dressed up as George Frideric Handel for Halloween.
Complete with powdered wig.

And parts of my beauty routine now, involve Elizabeth Arden for goodness' sake.

...

But some parts still involve Bonne Bell.
And the closet part is involving a whole lot of Forever 21.

Crap.

xoxo

  2. I just hit the big 2-6! Now I really am on the downward slope to 30. WHEN did that happen!? Before I know it 40 will be here and we'll be talking about how it's the new 20. Because it is, right?

Hope you have a fantastic birthday!! I think 25 is a great age :)

  3. Your sweatshirt is fly, first of all. Second, I'm also turning the big two-five in a few months, so I'm right there with you sistah friend.

  4. Did you make your own version of that sweatshirt? The type looks a bit tinier than the ones I 've seen on pinterest. And I've been thinking it would be ideal candidate for a little iron-on action.

  5. @Rachael: BINGO! Girl, get that iron out! I made one with larger letters on a different sized sweatshirt too. Basically, I'm putting silly sayings on all of my clothing and I need to enter DIY rehab!:-) xoxo

  12. How gorgeous are you?!?!? And I totally still use Lip Lites by Bonne Belle and I have discovered, after shopping at "nicer" stores, that F21 is still the best.
