*The kitchen and I have almost mended our relationship. I cheated on it for a few weeks, especially after the noodle incident.Blegh. *Picnic in the park. Amazing food and too many blindingly white Oregonians turning pink. *We kinda turned a little pink too. *We have also eaten 3 watermelons in the past 6 days. *Speaking of fruit, Baby Bean is the size of a peach today! *Speaking of babies...My best friend is pregnant with her own little bean! *I'm pretty sure when we were 4, as we tossed our Cabbage Patch dolls on the trampoline, we made a pact to have babies at the same time. *Now, Baby Bean has its own best friend already...or future wife or husband...whatever.
*Received the most amazing phone call ever. Still beaming about it.
*Girl's day with my cousin Savannah, (age 10). I used to change her diapers. Stop growing up!
*Red Robin, shopping, and pedicures, oh my!
*Daniel and I watched, "The Town." He said he really enjoyed it. I was asleep and snoring by the middle of it. As Ben Affleck said his last poignant line, I shouted "Whatever!" and woke up. I think I was having a dream within a dream.
Saturday Highlights
*Hey, let's go to Starbucks! We'll get bagels and coffee. Life is perfect!
*Four Starbucks later. It was bagel ghost-town. Like Jesus himself had returned to Portland and taken all of the bagels with him. I still love you Jesus.
*We settle for Subway instead. Don't even get me started on the raisin sandwich I somehow ordered.
*Starbucks #4 did have bagels! BUT it was the Barnes&Noble one...so, my gift cards won't work there. We pay $1.50. It's a small price to pay after the ordeal that food has become for me in my every day life!
*Daniel's favorite thing I wear these days is any type of maxi-dress/skirt. He loves them so much that he insisted I buy a new one at H&M.
*Church at Solid Rock.
*VIP status/discounts at Departure. Our friends there are too good to us AND Baby Bean!
Remember {this} post? Oh wait. Better yet, do you remember me? Well, this post will explain my on-again-off-again relationship I've been having with this ol' blog lately.
You see, it's kind of hard to blog consistently when you are constantly in the bathroom going pee. Or taking a nap, or 3 every day. Time flies by when you're hitting up McDonalds 4 times in one week after getting sick while cooking (spaghetti will never be the same again) for the stud hubs. Don't even get me started on my new workout routine that involves taking a shower. Yes. Washing my hair is equivalent to P90X now.
Thankfully, the McChicken/french fries/hot fudge sundae phase has passed. Burp. Now the real fun begins, cause...
Baby Bean I. will be here November 30th!
We got to see the little lime-sized bubba yesterday. Feet crossed, hands behind head...totally living the life in womb paradise.
All of our hearts went pitter-patter.
Actually, Baby Bean's heart sounded like a motorboat.
