Don't Go Chasing...

 {Multnomah Falls}

Don't let my "confident" hand-on-hipped head-to-toe-nike-sports-attired self fool ya.
{this same outfit can often be worn for a day of nothing but baby bean snuggles and a trip to target for laundry detergent that ends with a receipt full of anything but laundry detergent}

By switchback #9 up the trail, I was alternately feeling the burn and praying someone had finally built one of those motorized staircase chair lifts.

Only a watery roar of the cascading multnomah could inspire me to surge onward and upward...

that, and ice cream, of course.

The hike to the top of Multnomah is way more demanding than you think! It's a tough one. Way to go! And you look super cute doing it too.

What the..?

You look adorable! Paha you expect me to believe you climbed a mountain and looked that cute at the top?

Well, whether you took a motorized chair lift or not, that is gorgeous...and probably worth any hike :)

I love Multnomah Falls! My husband and I got engaged there. That was after he made me go on a 5 mile hike around the falls though. I'd say I earned it. :)

Love that place!! I visited on the way home from a family reunion a few years ago. SO beautiful! Did you know they filmed some of Twilight there? Yep. #nerd

Just lovely photos!

The other day, a friend and I took the wee one to Target, for fruit and a shape-sorting toy. We came back with that, and about a zillion other things. Oh, Tarjay ...

A) I adore you for the title of this post and B) I feel that way every time I do this hike, but always shriek with glee once I'm at the top!

(Also, this was the sight of the best first date I've ever had - the place is pure magic)

I LOATHE hiking. I want to love it, but I truly truly hate it. Good for you for at least looking legit! :) Baby Bean is way too stinkin cute. LOVE! xoxo

The whole lot of you look like hikers! I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my struggles. You always crack me up! Thanks for that.
