ShoutOut: Fashonify

{via}

Let's face it. We're all human. We all put our pants on one leg at a time.
And we all make mistakes.

Mistakes in your wardrobe though?
{Like, picking out the wrong pair of pants to put your legs through?}

Time to kick em' to the curb.
{Fashonify} is here to beat up any clothing and accessory faux pas in your life.

"Fashonify is your democratic stylist, changing the way you think about fashion advice. We are a growing network of fashion lovers, banded together to share wisdom and guidance with those in need of a little fashion advice. Unsure what to wear to your first corporate holiday bash? Wavering on how to style for a big interview? Maybe you just need a little nudge towards that perfect ensem for school today. Everyone at some point needs a little push in the right direction when it comes to fashion, but who has the cash to splurge on a personal stylist? Not us!"

Example:
If I had uploaded this photo on Fashonify,
Someone would have given me feedback like, "Ok, the romper trend is booming and super cute. However, you are 5'10, trying to squeeze into a generic F21 size, small enough to give your 10 year old cousin that same exact wedgie.

Probably with nicer wording,
but the same saving grace.

Lesson learned.

A Little Something Something

The Whim Wham Life has a new friend!

1). I totally just referred to my blog like it's a living and breathing thing.
2). I hope we can still be friends.
3). I think you'll like this new friend.
4). Or maybe you guys are old friends and I'm like that new girl who prances into your school and wows everyone with my trove of Gelly Roll pens, Lisa Frank notebooks, and totally steals your thunder. What? That doesn't happen anymore?
5). Ok. I'm done.

Needless to say, I'm pee-my-pants-excited to announce a new sponsor on this ol' blog.

These Brazilian Wish Bracelets have been a tradition in Brazil & South America for over 200 years. They are said to bring good luck and wish fulfillment to those that carry them.

Celebrities love this unique accessory too!

{Camilla Belle}
{Lauren Conrad}

How it's Done
*Wrap your Belo Band around your wrist and tie three knots.
*Make a wish with each knot.
*When your Belo Band breaks down and falls off, it is believed that your three wishes will come true.

I just love these little bracelets. Wishes and whimsy all wrapped up into a fashion accessory? Yes please!

Belo Bands has offered all of you guys a coupon code for 20% off all bands, good thru April 14th.

Just type in "whimwham" when you checkout.

{ALSO}
I have a few of these bracelets for a giveaway!
The winner will receive {2} Wish Bands
{One for you and one for a friend. Or both for you if you want double the wishes. Ha. I know you too well.}

{To Enter}
1. Be a follower of The Whim Wham Life
2. Leave a comment below saying what you're wishing for
3. "Like" Belo Bands on {Facebook} for an additional entry, if you wish. Ha. wish.

Spotlight: Glass Cocoon Jewelry

Hello lovelies! Today I am excited to introduce you to someone new. Someone with sparkly and feathery things to share. Her name is Glass Cocoon. Or G.C. for short. Yeah, that's how I roll.

G.C. meet everyone. Everyone, meet G.C.

The mastermind behind Glass Cocoon Jewelry is my friend Lindsi!

{isn't she gorgeous?}

She is a beautiful wife and mama of two adorable little girls, who enjoys art, photography and making pretty things.

Here's a little peek at some of the G.C. loveliness!

OOOH AHHH

{Golden Sunset Earrings}

{Gold Sparrow Dangles}

{Gold Leaf Necklace}

{Long Distance Love Bracelet}

{Feather Earrings}

{adorable gift-wrapping}

Lindsi also has the biggest heart! When she learned about the issue of human trafficking internationally, as well as locally, she decided to use her creativity as an instrument for change on a global level. A portion of her sales goes to Compassion First, a local non-profit organization helping to bring relief to those enslaved in human trafficking in Indonesia and the broader Asia/Pacific region.

Every time you wear her lovely jewelry, you know that a little part of it was used to make someone else realize their value and worth.

That is beautiful to me!

You can check out her Etsy shop here.

I've got some feathery earrings flying to me in the mail, and I can hardly wait!

Have a lovely and lively Tuesday. Spread the love and the live...ly!

xoxo
