I Was Made for This

{ringing in the new year}

Productive days with a 5-week old can be somewhat of a challenge.
Floors don't get vacuumed. Toilet paper runs out. Afternoon snuggles usually win.

Perhaps it's the competitive streak in me.
{I was "that" girl who arm wrestled the boys during recess}

I enjoy a good challenge.

Juggling a wiggly baby in one hand and a tube of mascara in the other.

Things are getting done around here.
Maybe not right away. And definitely not in the moving-mountains-esque category. But getting done, nonetheless.

And toilet paper was bought today. In case you were worrying about that.

We were starting to eye the Kleenox box though. Not gonna lie.

xoxo

You're doing fabulous!

I don't even have a baby and sometimes our toilet paper gets so low, I'm worried what's going to have a new 'use'.

:P

you just cherish those times! it's OK if the vacuuming doesn't get done or you don't shower in 3 days. I promise, nothing is more important than spending time with that sweet baby. mine is already 18 months and i have no idea where the time went!

It was totally like that around here for a while. The floors don't get vacuumed much still, but to be honest I was on a once a week schedule before Pearl arrived :)

You're a rockstar! Seriously. My life has changed so much with the arrival of my son 6 months ago. So strange, but so awesome.

Also, love the nose ring. I enjoy rocking a hoop every now and then too :)

Hahaha... love it. I felt like I was being mowed down by my piles of laundry (clean, but still in piles) at 5 weeks. Now we are almost at 5 months and the challenges are just different. Good for you on seeing that even getting the little stuff done is an accomplishment... most people miss that.

Oh boy does that look fab on you! Happy New year to you!

You are wearing it WELL. My daughter has her nose pierced, I let her do it when she turned 13! Now she has a lot of her ears covered up too...
