All in all. A fantastic weekend, minus the heartburn. Sure, I ate pretty much everything you aren't supposed to eat if you have heartburn. Coffee. Chocolate. Creole seasoning.
At 35 weeks pregnant though, Baby Bean is making me sweat regardless of what/when I eat.
He turns water into lava. A modern day little miracle maker that Bean is.
Until now, I was busting out the TUMS every night.
Then it was every few hours.
Every two hours.
It's all a blur.
Daniel was googling TUMS Rehab groups.
I'm happy to say, I have found my cure at Walgreens.
And with 4-ish weeks left, I say, "Bring on the fried everything!"

Aw, I'm glad that you had a lovely weekend, despite all the heartburn :)
Haha so sorry you had the mordor heart burn. You are so funny. Get used to being hot. It pretty much doesn't go away until you are done breastfeeding. I had my baby last Fall and I remembered being so bummed I couldn't wear my warm clothing because of how hot I was all the time.

OMG. You got attacked with heartburn! Other than that sounds like a lovely weekend :)
Oh heartburn, it was my only pregnancy ailment. I waited WAY too long to ask the doctor for Zantac...it was like heaven on earth. Oh, and my babe DID have hair.
Eating is usually the highlight of my weekend too. YOu are not alone. :)
yum,I enjoyed frappuccino goodness this weekend also! And according to the old wives tale...with all the heart burn he may come out with a head full of hair! :)
wait... TUMS really work for you??? I used to get heartburn really bad in college and it seemed like TUMS did nothing. I'm glad they work for you!
I want a donut now... and I don't have a little baby bean to help me eat it ; )
Fun weekend! I remember finding solace in the tums as well near the end of my pregnancy.
It sounds like a fabulous weekend. Minus the heartburn, of course! As a Portland native, ice cream and organic lover I can't believe I have never heard of Salt & Straw. Looks yummy!

I hope your heartburn goes away soon...but eeks so exciting that baby will be here before you know it!
what's the cure? i must know! or was it just the tums? i haven't had heartburn yet, but just in case, always good to know :).
I love this photo of you guys! And anything with delicious food is the best highlight of my week too hahah.
Don't worry the myth about heart burn= hairy babies is true. There is a scientific fact that the hair follicles of the fetus actually off set the acid in the mother's stomach thus creating acid reflex/heartburn. I am proof of that. Go back and look at my baby as a new born... seriously the hairiest baby I have ever met! And it is sooooooooooooooooo cute!! Hairy babies are the best, and with all this heartburn you are having I hope that you too have a little hairy nugget!
*disclaimer, his body wasn't hairy... just his head! But no eyebrows or eyelashes.
I'm cracking up.. water into lava. Glad you had a great weekend!!
35 weeks already?? Time seems to be flying by! I can't wait to see pictures of your little guy :)
Hahaha. TUMS rehab. I love it. : )
Sorry about all the heartburn! At least TUMS taste good...or at least I think they do....I could see how a girl could get addicted! ;)
What a lovely weekend minus the heartburn! I never had heartburn while pregnant. I will now consider myself lucky :)
Lava pit of mordor. Hilarious! :] All the food sounds delicious though!
