It's a Hoppipolla Day

How do I begin my version of a perfect November morning?
With leg warmers, messy hair, journaling, a spiced cider candle, and making up my own words while humming along with Sigur Rós, of course.

Sigur Rós= a dreamy musical version of an Ikea catalogue. pretty much.

Also, a vanilla latte and some hardcore button-sewing shall soon commence.

Makes me feel all Project Runway-ish.

le sigh.

xoxo

You're my hero for this statement alone. And for being as equally thrilled with this Portland morning as I am.

Win.

You should try Múm if you like Sigur Ros. Múm is kinda the same band but with a female singer instead.

I feel like Iceland is the home to a lot of really amazing music. I haven't met an Icelandic band I haven't liked yet.

I LOVE Sigur Ros! I saw them live in Dallas a long time ago - but it's still a memory I have fresh in my mind. They were AMAZING.
Oh, and also amazing - those legwarmers!

girl you are getting so close!! can't wait to meet the little man (although maybe you are a tad more excited...) and I love me some button sewing until, say, button 3. Then I am over it. ha!

holy cow, that does sound perfect. sometimes i'm convinced i want to get pregnant right now so that i can sit on my bum for a few months and catch up on all of the projects and relaxing i've been putting off all year. but then i remember that a baby comes at the end of a pregnancy, and those things are hard work. so i'm fine to wait for now. i'm living vicariously through you.

I love Sigur Rós. I have been craving a rediscovery of their music and this post has finally reminded me to get on Spotify and do it. :)

And I realllllllllly wish I had some leg warmers right now because my apartment is always freezing for some reason.

I love those sorts of mornings. Give me a cup of tea, my journal, a little Bible study, and some cozy warm socks on my feet and I'm golden. :)

I have been making good use of my leg earners lately as well! Except my feet need socks too. I hate cold toes!
