me me me time
Weekend Highlights
*girls' afternoon getting pedicures. Thanks Grandma Bess!
*spending as much time outside as possible while the sunshine lasted. I'm pretending I got a tan. {this} bronzer always makes it more of a reality.
*a cheery old grandpa sporting a bowtie and ray bans drove past us in his convertible and complimented me on my straw fedora.
There are so many things I like about that sentence.
*celebrating my sweet friend Julia's birthday. highlights within a highlight: gorgonzola fries and billiards.
*celebrating my sweet dad Jim's birthday, with garlic parmesan fries.
*celebrating my sweet weekend's existence, with even more fries. from Five Guys.
*Baby Bean has a real official humane bedtime now, through the night. I could hug and kiss and share all my fries with him for the rest of my days. that's a lot of hugs and kisses. and judging from this weekend, thousands upon thousands of fries.
*we sure do love him, but we sure do love our free evenings full of books, kettle corn, movies, and smooching.
xoxo

It was fun to finally meet in real life :)
Amazzzzing weekend!
We stuffed our faces at Five Guys too! And you better believe that the only fry left in the bag was the fry that fell on the table. (I'm weary of eating off of fast food tables, ha!)
I am so glad he is sleeping through the night!!! I can't even imagine that at this point :) love that you love fries. They might be my favorite food-ever
so fun to hang out on purpose, instead of accidentally in the aisles of target :). i'm going to have to pick your brain abut how this bedtime thing worked out for you!
Aw, I love sweet little old men. They are so cute. This one way wearing a bow tie and ray bans? Even more awesome and adorable.
jellicoe road! yay! one of my faves :)

My favorite thing from this: the cheery old grandpa with the bow tie complimenting you on your fedora. LOVE! Little old men like that are the best! He reminds me of when my sister-in-law had her baby and one of the doctors who came to check up on him wore a bow tie and was just so happy and sprightly for so early in the morning. Haha. Good memories! :]
did a girls afternoon of pedicures this weekend...a delight.
