Independence Day

{Neskowin, OR 2013}

Our July 4th was spent in a picturesque Norman Rockwell-Americana-ish city by the sea, also known as, Neskowin.
(You know a city is gonna be good when they have the word "WIN" in it)

Bean scooped a million grains of sand into his shiny yellow bucket, his hair, his shoes, and his mouth.
His timid toes wouldn't fully embrace the soft terrain until much later. The Toms tan-line lives on!

We ate clam chowder, cheeseburgers, ice cream sandwiches, and s'mores while anxiously waiting for the sun to dip below the waves. Goodbye light and hello sparkle.
Whenever a firework's eight seconds of snap, crackle, pop was finished, Bean would yell, "MORE MORE MORE!"
"How do you ask nicely?"
"Peazzz!"

...

Happy Birthday America!

xoxo
