Super Fans

{camping for tickets}

Daniel pretty much hit the jackpot when he married me. I mean, not only am I beautiful, smart, hilarious, and extremely humble...{hardy.har.har}...I'm a big fan of sports. ESPN and 95.5 the Game, are constantly running in our house and car.
{I understand, to many, this would be your nightmare. Don't worry. I make sure we balance it all out with some Project Runway and Teen Mom}

{a game of HORSE in the Dominican Republic}

{Daniel's Groom Cake. obvi}

Our favorite sports team of all time? It is and will always be, the Portland TrailBlazers.
My little claim to fame is that my grandparents sponsored them back in the 90s, so our whole family would eat dinner with the teams before they played, and then go watch the game.
To this day, I still have a crush on Terry Porter. Don't worry. Daniel does too.

{Go Blazers!}

Now, if only I could magically squeeze into my old cheerleading outfit from 1994. The white turtleneck really makes it stand out.

xoxo

Oh he did hit the jackpot. I can't even stand the sound of sports on tv unless it's Thanksgiving. I just don't have the attention span for it. Luckily my Husband doesn't like to watch them. I hit the jackpot too!

Love it! And i understand- We are always watching and reading about sports, I created an entire thematic unit on baseball! I spent an entire semester doing nothing but figuring out how to teach every subject through the sport!

Now my husband is really confused as to why our dvr has things like bethenny ever after, or the housewives on it- he doesn't understand that i do need my drama fix too! :)

I really like sports, too. Not basketball so much, but I really get into football.

Never been to a Blazers game... that's cool your grandparents sponsored them!

What a lucky guy! We watch a lot of sports too - especially now that Giants baseball is back on. To balance it, I make the boyfriend watch Real Housewives. He's probably Teresa Giudice's biggest fan now because of me (from RH of New Jersey).

he is very lucky! you two are adorable together. I'm glad you make an even balance with teen mom because we all need a little of that in our lives.

please put that uniform on, don some pigtails, and go out in public. I'd probably even give you 5 dollars if you could prove you did it.

I LOVE sports too... I used to watch ESPN more than I do now, but I still tune in sometimes.

Your hubs truly is lucky... fewer girls that I used to think are really sports fans : (

Did you get tickets for the game tonight?! Ian and I are obsessed with the Blazers too : ) Actually, we are friends with one of the players and one of the coaches, so we get free tix all the time. But tonight Ian is taking his dad to the game instead of me : ( I hope he realizes what an awesome wife he has! Hahahaha! You and I would be great friends in real life, girl!

Awesome. I have predominantly male friends and a few years ago, I realized that the only way to interact with them during the fall was if I actually knew what was happening on the ball field. Die hard Yankee fan since.
