Stomach, Your Welcome

{via}

This week has been one of those weeks where I've been absent from the kitchen. Not my fault though. And, no, I didn't make Glass Pizza again. Hardy-har-har.
We've just been living the city life and eating some fabulous food along the way.
No complaints here.

Tuesday night, we had, oh hey, pizza at {Ken's Artisan Bakery}. Definitely will try to recreate the thin crust bell pepper with feta cheese and garlic.
Tonight we are shmoozing it up with our friends at {Departure}.
(P.S. I'm a job-finder for people. Who needs CraigsList when you have me in your life? I've hooked four friends up this year alone, with some snazzy jobs. Including Departure. Hello free hotel room/50% off food).

However, I've spent the past 9 hours with "The Bean", (age 4), and "Opal", (age 2). Meaning, my conversation topics want to revolve around Lego City, goldfish crackers, and a particularly rousing game of Candy Land. Adult conversation must commence soon, preferably over a blackberry cocktail. Wish me luck!
And I wish you a happy weekend!

xoxo

Haha! I was a nanny for ages and I miss it terribly... but when I was constantly hanging out with kiddos I sure did miss grown-up time!

Grab that cocktail. I nannied 3 boys under 3 this past summer (1.5yr old twins and their older brother who had just turned 3). It's okay to have a cocktail (or three) after nannying! So, I just looked through your wedding photos. Could you be any more gorgeous? Tyra Banks reallyyy ain't got nothin' on you girl! Hope your weekend is wonderful:) MademoiselleMichael

Sometimes it's sweet to talk with children. They have a simpleness to them that takes away worries of the real world.

Your blog is beautiful. . browsing through postings right now! You and your hubby are adorable

Mmm pizza sounds delish right now! I know how you feel when you need that "adult" time..there is only soo many times you can speak baby words before you realize you're going crazy! :)

I'm jealous of your culinary travels. Including childish conversations and goldfish crackers. Which definitely are a culinary delight!

I've been job searching here and in PDX! Trying to decide what will make my Husband move. Although I do want to move somewhere sunny.

1. this blackberry cocktail you speak of sounds incredible! you must tell me more about it.

2. send a job craig's way. he/i would love you forever :).

3. i can completely relate to having lots of non-grownup convos and having difficulty transitioning back into the adult world. i've gotten better at it now though....it took me awhile though. haha!
