Whim Wham Weekend #7

Friday Highlights
*Spending the day at the salon/coffee date with my sister-friend Em.

*We decided to be nice and let our guys in on the fun: Double-date with our stud hubs' for Chinese food and a Target run for candy.

*Watched the new Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston movie, "Just Go With It."

Saturday Highlights
{via}

*Breakfast/cartoons in bed. I think our future kids are gonna like us.

*Phil Wickham leading worship at church. Glory-bomb!

*"Welcome Home!" dinner for one of our good friends. (He was in Rwanda. sigh). Fun swapping stories with him about our similar adventures, and, of course, eating a lot of meat. He came back 20lbs lighter!

Sunday Highlights
*Happy Birthday Dad! Somehow he gets two parties this year, and today was #1! I'm not jealous though, I get two shopping trips for my birthday this week. Yep. Totally bragging. I'll be quiet now. Like they say in Cambodia: "High Five! We're still friends?"

*Found a cheap, grocery-store alternative to my beloved imported Amarula drink from Africa.

*Blogging. I've become one of those people. No shame here though. This is too fun. AND I'm still getting my giveaway put together. Patience, my friends.

Weekends are good for the soul. Right?

xoxo

Weekends truly are the best! We like to watch TV in bed on the laptop before going to sleep, and we often drink our coffee in bed in the morning. Not that our living room isn't nice, but why get out of bed if you don't have to, right?
Happy Monday!
