New Series Kick-Off

{A new series focusing on How-To}

Today: A Quick Natural Makeup/Hair Tutorial

Hello lovelies!

I don't know about you, but sometimes I like to wear makeup and look like I'm NOT wearing makeup, if you know what I mean. Especially these past few weeks of working out {every.single.day.} and my makeup ends up dripping off my face anyway. Eww. With this look, I can have a fresh face without spending a lot of time and effort, and in the evening can add some liner, a smokey eye, and a dark lip for a night out. If you do wear a lot of makeup, this can be a great way to not feel so "naked" and give your skin a breather in the process.

Here it is!

{Good Morning Bright Eyes}

{a little brow powder for definition}
{MAC Bronzing Powder in Golden}

{my winter-white- skin saver}
{focus on areas where the sun naturally hits}

{NARS Blush in Orgasm. yep}
{light pink glow}
{a few swipes}

{white liner to open up eyes}
{MK Eye Primer}
{Stila custom palette}

{Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten}
{Curl eyelashes for more "awake" eyes}
{a little shimmer}

{DiorShow Waterproof Mascara}

{Classic mascara-face}

{easy peasy}

{EOS lip balm in Summer Fruit}

{love this stuff}

{Blow Beach Blow texturizing mist}
{Spray and scrunch wet hair to get beach-y hair}

{all done in mere minutes. hooray}

Hope you enjoyed this 1st edition of How Now Brown Cow! I'd love to hear if you have any quick/natural makeup tips and tricks of your own!

Happy {lovely and lively} Thursday to you!

xoxo

LOVE this!!! Orgasm blush? I think I need some of that! I like the white eye liner look. I tried it once, looked awful on me! And does that Blow Beach spray have salt in it? If so, thats VERY damaging to your hair.

hello fellow sickie....yes yes yes to being a sick blogging bump on a log....and good excuse for complete laziness. Not that i need an excuse...what do you think I'm doing every other day?:)

Ok...a few return notes:
1. she must have been. She was a model here in Portland and had SO many clothes...I honestly have never seen such a thing. And when I walked into the bathroom, the tub was FULL of wigs...I guess models almost always wore wigs back in the day..?
2. Brownies...always a good idea...and hard to burn :)
3. I have yet to hand over the meatballs. what am i DOING with my life!?
4. someone told me today that there's a nude beach down at Sauvies Island...beach date? ;)
5. yes, adore her.
6. Friday night lights. Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.

Craft date soon! Let me know when you're feeling better and we'll pencil it in!

My natural/everyday make-up consists of moisturizer, light powder, blush, mascara, and chapstick. Maybe I need to kick it up a notch and try white eyeliner as well. Also, I love that blush!
